The idea of Olinda was born when playing the traditional Sri Lankan game of Olinda Kaheliya. It’s a game played during auspicous or good days like the new year to help bring on more good days. We hope our tea will also help in the same way. We believe that a cup of tea can be a very very important part of a happy home. If the tea is good and does what it’s supposed to the mind, body and soul, then it will play a big role in the lives of the people who drink it. It’s not about being the most expensive tea, it’s not about excessive packaging and overanalyzing a cup. It’s about the simple pleasures and enjoyment that a good cup of tea can bring. We’ve made it our mission to make sure Olinda brings some happiness into your home.
